






Silverwood Lodge is a self-contained brick building, ideal for younger members or as an indoor base during the winter.
The accommodation consists of:
First Floor
Large activity room with tables and chairs separate kitchen with 6 ring gas range, double sink, large fridge/freezer.
Cooking utensils are provided with crockery and cutlery for 50 people.
Ground Floor
Bedroom 1 7 double bunks 14 persons
Bedroom 2 6 double bunks 12 persons
Bedroom 3 3 double bunks 6 persons
Bedroom 4 3 double bunks 6 persons
The accommodation sleeps 42 and allows for a further 8 persons as day helpers. Please note that this total figure has been set by the Fire Service and must be strictly adhered to.
Toilets
Male and Female toilets, both with individual showers (2) and washbasins.
Safety
Fire doors and equipment are installed on both floors and emergency lighting is on at night. Carbon Monoxide alarm installed.
Groups contemplating bringing Beavers for the day must make arrangements for cover and for the provision of meals.
If your scout section is camping on the site they cannot have free range to the building if the total numbers will exceed 50.
The hirer is responsible for cleaning the building and any damage or breakage’s must be paid for.
Access to the building for weekend bookings is normally 18:30 on Friday until 16:00 on Sunday. A surcharge of £20.00 is added for Entry/Departure before or after these times.
Weekly bookings are available upon request.
